Useful Hints & Tips
Self-help and advice
I will add here more recommendations or interesting hints or tips, as I come across them, so do take a look at this page regularly.
Following your treatment
It would be useful for you to take it easy following your treatment. You are very welcome to stay in the waiting room at Number 7 Clinic, Presteigne and have a hot/cold drink before you head off, just to give yourself a bit more ‘me’ time.
If you have long held emotional issues you may find that these bubble up for a few days after the treatment. Roll with those emotions and be kind to yourself. Your body needs to release that pent up emotion and it is better out than in. Please don’t be put off by this as very often immediately after the treatment my clients have said they feel so relaxed that they can hardly believe how relaxed they feel. We can chat about your situation and I will tailor the treatment to your needs.

As we are all different and have different reasons for receiving this treatment, your responses to the treatment will be different. I will contact you a day or two after, by text, to see how you are feeling.
... and a few people who can make a difference
I mentioned in the 'About Me' section that I attended a kundalini yoga retreat in Mid Wales a few years ago which transformed my life. This was run by two fantastic people who I have regular contact with. Well a confession, I actually attended a number of kundalini yoga retreats within the 2 years following. Lucy and Beth are truly amazing people and I feel very blessed that I have found them.
Lucy Teear has many strings to her bow, she is a Certified Health Coach, a Plant Based Nutritionist, a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and is Jikiden Reiki certified. She combines natural detoxification with kundalini yoga. A powerful approach that heals the physical, emotional and spiritual self. Lucy is a living testament to this as she is a survivor of double breast cancer and now Thrives in life.

Beth Morgan led the yoga at the retreats and continues to do so. Most of them are held in Wales and are located in the most stunning areas. Beth also runs a number of online yoga sessions. There are some ‘live’ sessions and some recorded sessions.

I can also recommend Holly Hopkins, who happens to have trained with me in Cranio-Sacral Therapy! Holly is also a qualified Breath-Worker and I joined one of her online sessions. This was an amazing hour. Breathing and using a specific breathing technique (there are many of them) is great for our health and wellbeing.
